Market Development Representative
Overview:
The Market Development Representative is responsible for supporting the Marketing and Sales departments through lead generation. This includes lead generation through prospecting and qualification of inbound and outbound leads via the phone, web, email, corporate events and direct mail campaigns.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or greater
-
2 years experience in technology sales

Hungry, Aggressive, Self-Starter
-
Excellent communication skills and vocabulary

Good Story-Teller and Great on the phone

Ability to understand and explain technology
-
Salesforce.com experience a plus
Responsibilities:
-
Proactively call into accounts on targeted lists by utilizing and maintaining corporate database. Qualify inbound and outbound leads.

Transfer solid qualified leads to appropriate Regional Sales Manager for follow-up and formal sales presentation.

Maintain strong relationship with sales team through clear communication and consistent follow-up.

Diligently record activity and notes in SalesForce.com CRM

Maintain extensive knowledge of the Hart InterCivic Election technology

Maintain strong understanding of the industry trends and competitive landscape

Achieve quarterly lead generation goals set by sales and marketing management.

Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques and strategies for securing new accounts.

Participate on projects teams as needed to support Sales and Marketing initiatives.

Operate under supervision with frequent reviews of work.
